Season of the Knee
“For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], from whom every family in heaven and on earth [a]derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father].” Eph 3:14-21 amp
A curtsy does not get you low enough. Time to bow the knee, not tip the hat or give a respectful head dip. Not partial submission to the Father but total submission. Like a camel kneels so we can get on his back. Like a father kneels so he can carry his child on his shoulders. This is the body language God wants to see, now at this time.
He who kneels, avoids the arrows, he shelters beneath His wings, in the shadow of the Almighty.
James the Apostle’ nick name was ‘old camel knees’ for his frequent kneeling.
Time to get the church back to this posture. Time for the church to again grasp the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ, where being black and white is meaningless because being Christian is everything.
Were in the season of the knee, in the body of Christ. Not the hand, not the eye and not the tongue. Its declared: the Season of the Knee is upon us. Church, it’s time to kneel like this happy Camel.
